Mr. Arlett is one of the founders of the American Hospital Management Company. He is an experienced international healthcare executive with more than fifteen years of progressive responsibility in hospital and corporate management and administration. During his career, Mr. Arlett has directed the development and implementation of several corporate strategic plans, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate development, within and outside the United States.
Prior to founding AHMC, Mr. Arlett held positions with Stanford University Medical Center, Sonora Community Hospital, Sutter Health, and Northern Montana Healthcare. Mr. Arlett is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Society of Healthcare Economists, the International Healthcare Economists Association and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Dr. Vivek Sama is an Orthopedic Surgeon trained at the Royal Orthopedic Hospital, Birmingham, U.K. He has practiced at the Wycombe & Amersham Hospitals in the U.K., and Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi. He is a graduate of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Vivek received his MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, majoring in Health Service Management, Finance, and Marketing. Prior to returning to India, Vivek worked with Bain & Co., a top-tier global strategy consulting firm, in their San Francisco office. At Bain, Vivek advised senior management of several healthcare corporations, including hospital groups and managed care organizations.
Vivek relocated to India in 2007 as Executive Partner and Head of North Indian Operations for HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG), a leader in cancer hospitals and research in India. He launched the company’s operations in North India, structuring and executing partnership projects in New Delhi and other North Indian cities. In 2009, Vivek founded Sama Healthcare, a company dedicated to operating Hospitals, Clinics, Day Surgery Centers, and Renal Dialysis Centers.
Vivek also manages Chiranjiv Medical Foundation, a charitable trust funding medical and surgical treatment for deserving patients.
Gayatri has over 13 years of experience as of leading & managing large tertiary multi-specialty hospitals at CXO leadership positions. Her vast experience includes 5 years as Chief Operating Officer of the Sterling Group of Hospitals, a leading chain of multi-specialty hospitals under the majority ownership of Actis private equity. At Sterling, she was responsible for operations of an aggregate 500 beds across Ahmadabad and Vadodara. Her responsibilities included revenue, occupancy, patient satisfaction & profitability. At Sterling, Gayatri achieved revenue growth from INR 75 Lacs/month to INR 5.5 Cr/month, leading Sterling to become a strong and profitable business.
Gayatri has also led and delivered greenfield hospital projects within time and budget targets, and has launched several specialties within hospitals. Gayatri combines a strong passion for health care with a deep understanding of business dynamics & drivers of operational efficiency. She possesses a rare blend of skills including strategy, business development, operations and healthcare entrepreneurship.
Dr. Kamle has over 30 years of experience in hospital planning and adminstration, and is a national authority on the healthcare industry in India. His qualifications include Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration, as well as a Ph.D in Community Health. He has done extensive research work in computer engineering applied to Hospital Management Systems. He has worked with several U.S. based organizations including the American Institute of Medicine, U.S.A. to establish global standard Hospitals. He has helped several Indian and international groups establish medical facilities, including Mediciti Hospitals and the CDR group in Hyderabad. He has been awarded the 'Rotary Foundation International Award' for Education. Dr. Kamle is fluent in several Indian languages including Hindi, English, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu and Sanskrit.

Gautam Chhabra (email@example.com) is a commerce graduate from Delhi University and has extensive training in Information Technology from National Institute of Information Technology, India. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Hardware and Networking, majoring in Networking & Protocols and recognized as Network Engineer. He also holds an tittle of “Certified Microsoft Professional”.
Gautam has extensive experience, including 6 years in Healthcare industry. At AHMC he is heading operational management and IT infrastructure of the hospitals.
He is also involved with many upcoming healthcare IT projects including mobile applications and web portals which will help community with ease of healthcare reach.
Mr. Chhabra is an instigator of innovation with unwavering determination to bring products to market, he contribute selfless and ethical leadership, influence change, build great talent, plan diligently, monetize opportunities, and execute relentlessly. He will literally do ‘whatever it takes’ to get the job done.
Amar is a graduate from commerce and a diploma course in computer applications, and has over 30 years of experience in accounting and management. He is proficient in the use of Lotus, Word-star, Tally, Quattro, Ms-Windows, Ms-Word, Ms-Excel etc. and their application in different industries.
Amar leads the accounting and finance team at the AHMC and has a critical role in business development and vendor relationship management.
Amar enjoys reading books in his leisure time.
Mr. Morrissey holds a degree from Babson College with a major in Investments/Entrepreneurial Studies, a a Master of Finance from Tulane University as well as a MBA from Florida International University. He adds to the international experience by having worked and studied abroad in three continents.
Prior to joining, Mr. Morrissey had been living in Chile participating in PROJECT CHILE, a program developed in partnership with the international business community to promote an understanding of world business, global awareness, and Spanish language skills. Mr. Morrissey is experienced in hospital budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning and medical tourism; as well as managing contracting and compliance issues with International and National insurance companies. He is active in the American Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Panama as the co-founder and the elected Chairman of the Health Committee.
Mr. Kuntz is a seasoned healthcare leader, with over 30 years’ experience in domestic and international hospitals, management consulting services, and physician practice operation. Greg’s experience includes turnaround management, new facility design, construction, and start-up, management development, physician recruitment, and physician practice management. In his role as Executive VP, Greg directs facility operations in West Africa, Central Europe, MENA, and Asia, leads strategic planning engagements for client facilities, and has authored feasibility evaluations in a number of international settings. Greg has held positions with publicly traded specialty hospitals, community and tertiary hospitals in the US and internationally, and large specialty physician practices.
Greg was educated at the University of Pittsburgh, with a Master in Public Health, specializing in Healthcare Administration. Greg is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Mr. Foster has a Master of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University and Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a concentration in International Studies from Texas State University. Mr. Foster is a dynamic healthcare administrator with 12 years of experience in business development where he has created the ability to positively impact an organization's productivity, growth and quality outcomes. Mr. Foster has built various programs to accomplish international collaboration, physician alliances and various referral networks. Mr. Foster is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and served on the board of the South Texas Chapter-ACHE as their Student Affairs Director. He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
Ms. Riley brings over 30 years of experience in health care environments to The American Hospital Management Company. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Anselm College.
Ms. Riley presently works clinically in the Emergency Department at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Boston MA, which is one of the Harvard University Medical School’s teaching hospitals. BIDMC is a Level 1 Trauma Center and dedicated Stroke Center. During her career at BIDMC, Ms. Riley has served on various committees and accepted various leadership roles.
In addition to her AHMC role and Clinical Role at BIDMC, Ms. Riley is an instructor for Harvard Medical School, is the Supervisory Nurse in the United States Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team MA-1, and is a member of the US International Medical and Surgical Response Team. Ms. Riley’s experience also includes various international consultant and presentation roles with Harvard Medical International.
Ms. Lauren, a graduate of George Washington University in Washington DC, holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a concentration in Global Public Health. From Villanova University, she has completed Masters Certificates in Human Resource Management as well as Finance and Accounting for the Non-Financial Manager. Ms. Lauren is a multi-lingual addition to our team with fluency in both English and Spanish, as well as proficiency in Italian.
Prior to joining American Hospital Management Company, Ms. Lauren held positions with the non-profit organizations American International Health Alliance and the International Child Art Foundation in Washington, D.C. She has extensive experience in Administration, Human Resources, Procurement, Database Development, and New Business Development.
